Mr. Marc and the Adventure to Fitness team traveled to Schmid Elementary in Chicago, IL to celebrate the launch of their newest episode, Operation: Outer Space!
Zipcar Profiles: Chicago's Heritage Bicycles
In this Zipcar profile- we document Chicago's Heritage Bicycles as they navigate a workday of their quickly-growing enterprise.
I served as a cam-op and the editor of this piece. The main challenge here was to create something that could be both promotional in context, but also fairly depict Heritage and its employees in a realistic and interesting way.
This was a great experience in creating advertorial content for a major brand.
Blackmagic URSA Setup and Overview
Working with Magnanimous Rentals, I created animated title cards, motion graphics, and rotoscope animations outlining key features on the then newly-released Blackmagic URSA cinema camera. This video allowed me the opportunity to visually explain technical concepts about the camera and it's uses in a way the voiceover couldn't accomplish on it's own.
I was commissioned to create this promo video for Dryv, a dry-cleaning delivery service operating in the tech startup scene in Chicago.
Collaborating with the Dryv team early on, I was very involved in creating a concept designed to show how the product would fit into the lifestyles of its target customers.
I produced, shot, and edited this piece- which helped drive initial traffic to Dryv's social media platforms, and was used in numerous company presentations.
Columbus lifestyle brand Offhigh commissioned me to create an animated promo video for their first apparel launch. I took this opportunity to teach myself a number of 2D animation techniques using After Effects, creating a cut and paste style designed to fit the brand's visual identity.
MADE by NGO
MADE by NGO Jacket Release
In 2012 I got the chance to document fashion designer Ngockhanh Ngo early in his career while creating this short promo piece for his MADE by NGO brand.
At this time he was making custom-made varsity jackets out of vintage materials and denim. These jackets would then be sold at Columbus's monthly Gallery Hop Event.
I find it really interesting any time I get a chance to document an artist's process, and I think I was able to do so here in a way that also played well as a social-media promo.
